It's an acidic cleaner that will eat away the corrosion and leave the aluminum bright and clean. It will take some work scrubbing the corrosion out of the deep pits. And it left the surface with that non shiny gray look that it had in the first place. If you do try it, try it first on a hidden spot so that if it does not look right it won't be as noticeable.
